Introductions & First Dance:
Our bridal party came in to "Shipping Up to Boston" by the Drop Kick Murphys and we came in to 'Dirty Water" also by the DKM. Can you tell we love our Sox? All of the men wore orange baseball socks in honor of the Hubs' favorite color and sport. The men hiked up their socks and danced a little jig as they came into the reception! It was great! Our first dance was to "Steady As We Go" by the Dave Matthews Band. They are our favorite band and where we had our first date back in 2000!

Cake Cutting & Parent Dances:
We used "Do You Remember?" by Jack Johnson for our cake cutting song because it was peppy and short. Apparently my parents weren't happy with how we cut the cake and fed each other so they decided to smash a piece in each others faces. Pretty hilarious. I danced to 'Daughter" by Loudon Wainwright with my Dad and the Hubs danced to "Heart to Heart" by Toby Keith with his Mom.

Details, Details, Details...Where do I begin? We chose black pintuck satin and white with black embroidery overlays as our linens. We had white chivari ballroom chairs to add some class to the rooms. We had low and high centerpieces, letter press menus (Blush Design Studios) and wine bottle table numbers. I had the mantels decorated with family wedding photos, candles and pomanders along with beaded garlands. We also had Mr & Mrs. signs on our chair backs that were made on Etsy. I think the rooms looked quite ravishing if I do say so myself! They were vintage yet modern :) On the outside doors of the Glen, we had our initials hanging with damask print and yellow satin ribbon.

More Details:
I had a pair of orange poker chip cuff links made for the Hubs to wear with his initials in them. I had them made on Etsy of course! We had a monogram on the dance floor that I designed and our DJ Victor from Party Time projected for us. We also rented a photo booth from PartyBooths and it was unbelievable! We have the most hilarious photos ever! Everyone loved it! We also set up a candy buffet as our favor to our guests. I purchased all of the vases from Michael's, HomeGoods and A.C. Moore with coupons of course. All of the candy was purchased at BJ's. We ordered white take out boxes from PaperMart and found Damask packing tape online. We taped each box with a strip of damask packing tape and then used an exacto knife to cut out the top of the boxes. We ordered little hanging tags from Etsy to attach to each box. I also surprised the Hubs with a groom's cake from Corby's Cake and Cookie Company! We placed it on the candy buffet table and everyone loved it!

Our welcome table had our card box that I made with damask fabric and satin yellow ribbon, our seating chart that I made on PowerPoint and had printed at Kinkos and framed with a cheapo poster frame from Target. It also had our "wedding tree" guest book that I purchased on Etsy. Every guest left their thumb print on our tree and signed their name. Yes, of course, I provided wet naps to clean those green thumbs!

Our Wedding Cakes!
I couldn't have just one cake so I opted for 3 small yet adorable cakes. They were yellow buttercream with black gel designs. We also had a mini couple made from Nicole Wong Clark on Etsy. Our couple is now happily in their home on our mantel.
